Uzm. Dr. Selim Orta 1990 yılında İstanbul'da doğdu. Orta öğrenimini Çapa Anadolu Öğretmen Lisesi'nde tamamladıktan sonra Trakya Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nden mezun oldu ve zorunlu hizmetini Van'ın Erciş ilçesinde tamamladı.
Uzmanlık eğitimini Namık Kemal Üniversitesi'nde tamamladı.
Klinik ilgi alanları mezoterapi, medikal estetik ve ip askı uygulamalarıdır. Bu alanlarda çok sayıda ulusal ve uluslararası kongre ile sertifikalı eğitim programına katılmıştır. Bakanlık onaylı sertifikalı mezoterapi hekimi olup medikal estetik ve kozmetik uygulamalar sertifikasına sahiptir.
Doktor Selim Orta, MedPoint Akademi bünyesinde hekimlere yönelik hands-on eğitimler ve webinarlar yürütmekte; komplikasyon yönetimi ve hasta güvenliği konularına özel önem vermektedir.
